The ‘LIVE’ Ones

Okay! So, you ever wondered why it’s been so tough on you? Why as a believer, it seems as though you’re battled against on every side? Why matters just keep arising every bit of the journey? Well, I’ve got a simple answer to that.

Kizo Daniels' Blog

Just going to do a little bit of inspirational and motivational today. No crazy revelation, no deep scripture insight (although I think there still is), but definitely will give you that “hmmm” moment.

Okay! So, you ever wondered why it’s been so tough on you? Why as a believer, it seems as though you’re battled against on every side? Why matters just keep arising every bit of the journey? Well, I’ve got a simple answer to that. You’re ALIVE! And no, I don’t mean being alive because you’re breathing in oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide. I mean, you’re alive by reason of your life in Christ Jesus.

You have to understand that your being alive is the reason why you’re still facing all of these tribulations. Dead people don’t have issues, do they? They are just lying still-dead. No problems. But when there’s life, then it’s sure that you’ll still…

Why People ‘Lose’ Their Faith

real reason people aren’t coming to church, and the real reason we are losing members is the fact that many of us just aren’t nearly as good a Christian as we claim to be.

Operation Christian Dad

A recent poll done by the good people at Pew Research Center indicate that church growth and attendance is declining. As much as we’d like to blame the next generation for the slumping numbers because they were never in church to begin with, it’s also people who were in church and now aren’t.

There’s a number of reasons why the church, especially the Christian Church is seeing a decline. For starters, the church, at least according to many today just isn’t relevant anymore. The church doesn’t teach the same values that society does and for many youngsters growing up in a secular world, it’s just not cool enough.

Another reason for the shrinking numbers is that church is what old people do, church means you have to get up on Sunday morning and get dressed, you have to go to a place where tattoos are frowned upon, nobody even knows…

His Plan Will Stand

Hope you enjoyed your Sunday

Chocolate Vent

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the LORD’s counsel — that will stand.”

(Proverbs 19:21, NKJV)
TODAY’S WORD

God is strategic. He has laid out an exact plan for our lives right down to the smallest details. He knows the people you need to meet in order to fulfill your destiny. He knows who is going to give you a good break and who is going to put in a good word for you. He knows when someone is going to need to be there to help you out of a difficult time. God has it all figured out. He is not vague or approximate. He is orchestrating your life right down to the very second, causing you to be at the right place at the right time so you can meet the right people that He has ordained before the foundation of the world.

There’s no place for bad theology

There’s no place for bad theology

Nathanael Vitkus

Occasionally my students will ask me religious / God questions, as I’m known by way of my BEing that I am a follower of Christ. I take all their questions in stride, more often than not I will answer their questions with even more questions.

However the questions gravitate sometimes to something dark, something more personal than not. It is evident in some of the questions that my students ask me about God and matters concerning God that they’ve been sold that God loves them with conditions. I have also addressed questions concerning the love of God, which sadly someone of my students believe God doesn’t love certain people.

When I address the question concerning God’s love for them I let them know why they think that, quite often they believe it’s what they do that earns God’s love, and if what they’ve done or what they are doing now isn’t…

Dear Gorgeous…

So, keep going ahead flashing that million dollar smile:) You’re beautiful.

sagarikarawat

Dear Gorgeous
I know you are surrounded by people who make you feel like you aren’t good enough or beautiful…
But, let me tell you something, if you haven’t been told this already.

Those who are making you question everything about the clothes you wear, or the way you do your hair or the way you look, well they are wrong. You like it, you wear it. You can change your wardrobe anytime you want. I wish I could say the same thing about the character of those who make you doubt that you aren’t good enough just on the basis of the clothes you wear or how you look.
So, whatever it is that you love to wear. Wear it! And walk like you’re a runway model. Because you are one, baby girl. You can be anything you want to be.

I know people can be mean. And especially when…

The cost of a miracle!

Story source

“Tess, an eight-year-old child heard her parents
talking about her little brother. All she knew was
that he was very sick and they had no money left.
They were moving to a smaller house because
they could not afford to stay in the present house
after paying the doctor’s bills. Only a very costly
surgery could save him now and there was no
one to loan them the money.
When she heard her daddy say to her fearful
mother with whispered desperation, ‘Only a
miracle can save him now’, the little girl went to
her bedroom and pulled her piggy bank from its
hiding place in the closet. She poured all the
change out on the floor and counted it carefully.
Clutching the precious piggy bank tightly, she
slipped out from the back door and made her way
six blocks to the local drugstore. She took a
quarter from her bank and placed it on the glass
counter.
“And what do you want?” asked the pharmacist.
“It’s for my little brother,” the girl answered back.
“He’s really very sick and I want to buy a
miracle.”
“I beg your pardon?” said the pharmacist.
“His name is Andrew and he has something bad
growing inside his head and my daddy says only
a miracle can save him. So how much does a
miracle cost?”
“We don’t sell miracles here, child. I’m sorry,” the
pharmacist said, smiling sadly at the little girl.
“Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn’t
enough, I can try and get some more. Just tell me
how much it costs.”
In the shop was a well-dressed customer. He
stooped down and asked the little girl, “What kind
of a miracle does you brother need?”
“I don’t know,” she replied with her eyes welling
up. “He’s really sick and mommy says he needs
an operation. But my daddy can’t pay for it, so I
have brought my savings”.
“How much do you have?” asked the man.
“One dollar and eleven cents; but I can try and
get some more”, she answered barely audibly.
“Well, what a coincidence,” smiled the man, “A
dollar and eleven cents – the exact price of a
miracle for little brothers.”
He took her money in one hand and held her hand
with the other. He said, “Take me to where you
live. I want to see your brother and meet your
parents. Let’s see if I have the kind of miracle
you need.”
That well-dressed man was Dr Carlton
Armstrong, a neurosurgeon. The operation was
completed without charge and it wasn’t long
before Andrew was home again and doing well.
“That surgery,” her mom whispered, “was a real
miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost.”
The little girl smiled. She knew exactly how much
the miracle cost … one dollar and eleven cents …
plus the faith of a little child.
Perseverance can make miracles happen! Miracle
can come in various forms – as a doctor, as a
lawyer, as a teacher, as a police and many
others..
A river cuts the rock not because of its power, but
because of its consistency.
Never lose your hope; keep walking towards your
vision.”
Miracles still happen. Just believe.

Friend of God

True friends know each other on an incredibly deep level, Beloved….

Soul Food by Innate Expressions

Listen through my heartWe don’t know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself speaks to God for us. He begs God for us, speaking to him with feelings too deep for words…” (Romans 8:26 ERV)

The beauty of relationships are that you don’t always have to speak in order to communicate.

When you have a sincere relationship with someone, there is a connection…….you just know!

  • Before a child comes down with the flu, most mothers ‘just know’……that their child is about to get sick!
  • Distance, cannot deceive a true husband or wife if their significant other is having a ‘down’ day, …….they just know!
  • Lies don’t stand a chance between true best friends, because one can read the other like a book!

Question:

Would you walk up to a stranger and ‘spill your guts’?

Probably not!

  • They would probably think that you were ‘special’ if you did!
